The morning after!

Sandi had a reception at school today. First, she was presented with a burst of balloons, and later she got a pile of thank you cards from many of her students who had been in the play last evening.

Tonight was Sandi's night to shine at her school. Her second graders at Hazelwood Elementary School performed the play E-I- E-I OOPS! It started out with "Old McDonald Had a Farm" sung in the traditional way through all the animals until they came to the cow, but the cow wouldn't moo. Each group of animals tried to figure out why she wouldn't moo.

The Pigs gave it a try while the Sheep waited their turn.

The chickens did a great number called Cute Chicks.

Sandi had a blast and loves this part of her job! The audience seemed to really enjoy the evening

It turned out the cow needed to feel like she was included in the group.

On Easter Sunday morning Heather played He Sent His Son on her cello. Sandi accompanied her on the piano.

We don't take photos during services so I found these "file photos" from previous performances.
The music was beautiful and added to the reverent spirit of the Easter Services. It is a treat to live in the same house with talented musicians. It is amazing to see the brief time it takes for them to go from selection of the music to a quality performance.
