Some who have seen my blog have commented that I am long on photos and short on dialogue. It turns out that I have referred to my photo essays as blogs. So in the future when you open my blog spot please enjoy the photo essay.
There are thousands of birds that live at or pass through the park. Some are seasonal and some are opportunists that count on park goers to feed them in spite of the signs discouraging feeding the wildlife. I think most of the people in the park barely notice the birds. I have enjoyed watching and photographing them. Canadian geese are frequently seen around the edge of the lake. They are somewhat seasonal because sometimes there are many more than other times. You never know where you might see them.
In the spring you usually find them paired up instead of traveling with the flock.
